We don't recommend using this plan for new customers - our 15" product is a better choice. We provide this plan for those who already have any of our 12" Direct Servo CI products or our older 12" kits.

Why a 15" vented sub is better

There is nothing wrong with a 12" vented sub, but if you are about to make a purchase, our 15" version is simply a better choice. The output with a 15" sub is greater, which also means more headroom. Our 15" driver has more excursion which also reduces the risk of bottoming, which is more critical in a vented box. Since the price difference is minimal and the box size is the same, there is no real reason to choose the 12" option. The extra peak output capacity is just 1 dB short of two 12" vented subs.
